Initiating a new website design and development project, as you need to focus on making the structure of the website as per client requirements. The creation of content is the client’s responsibility. Most of the clients don’t understand the initial stage and give the content to a website design company too late. According to our experiences, making this decision didn’t work for us because the content comes of poor quality in the wrong formats. 

When we come to think about the content writing process, I am sorry to say, the clients are not good if they don’t have people of content writing and editing at their company. The clients are amazing in many ways, providing services and solutions to the clients. But writing persuasive and informative content is not the talent of some clients. As a website designer myself, I don’t like to encourage the client to produce their content in a good way. In my experience with one project, I Used Google Drive to manage the all process. Unfortunately, The client has required a lot of training on it as well, how to use the document editor and how much of the content that they need to produce and put on the website. I told the client that this content is unworkable, and the project took months longer than the exact deadline than it otherwise could have. 

I have felt in my career many times that asking the client to write content for their web design and development project every time and telling them this content is not useful wouldn’t ruin the custom web design.  Producing the content within the design process is tricky to manage. Because the designer, the website needs to work on it according to the content. In this blog, I am going to share my learning knowledge from years of experience as well as the offering of some tips to enhance the knowledge and different procedures. 

Why We Should Align Design and Content 

In its essential form, content is the material that the user needs to consume, while the design is the presentation of that content that influences how the users are feeling at the moment. So that makes the structure of the website. There is a common misconception among the clients and designers that content and design are the same. As such, sometimes it’s incredible to know where we need to confirm that it is difficult to know where the work of the designer needs to end. Therefore, there is a need to place the content along with the visual during the website design and development process. 

Why We Should Take Start From Content First 

We need to initiate the project from content first. Because the content is a story that will help us to know about the client mindset and their users. What are the goals to develop the website for their business?
